History, brought to life with an artful blend of contemporary dance,
cultural music and historic narratives. A riveting story for all ages,
Colours of Courage begins in a 17th century Africa and
seamlessly moves through the centuries, exploring the emotional impact
of the slave era, the pivotal achievements of Civil Rights Movement and
the momentous place we stand today. Engaging, educating, and inspiring,
this performance is followed by an open-forum discussions among
audiences, performers and scholars about the impact of Black History on
modern culture.
